Mejora de las capacidades atencionales en Educación Infantil

Abstract

[ES]La atención es una capacidad básica que todo el alumnado debe desarrollar para conseguir un aprendizaje y un rendimiento escolar óptimos. Asimismo, la etapa de Educación Infantil constituye un momento muy propicio para la intervención en las dificultades que pueden manifestarse de manera temprana en capacidades cognitivas relevantes para el desempeño escolar, de cara a prevenir la aparición de problemas futuros más graves. Así pues, este trabajo ha consistido en seleccionar en primer lugar, en una clase de Educación Infantil de alumnos de tres años, a aquellos que presentaban problemas atencionales para posteriormente realizar un entrenamiento mediante la aplicación de una batería de tareas para mejorar los distintos aspectos de la atención. La selección de los alumnos se ha realizado mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario tanto a la maestra como a los padres de los niños/as que quisieron participar en el estudio. A aquellos que obtenían mayor puntuación en el cuestionario se les aplicó una batería de actividades atencionales con la intención de que mejorasen dicha capacidad atencional. Posteriormente se volvió a administrar el mismo cuestionario a los padres/madres y a la profesora de los alumnos que habían sido entrenados. Los resultados obtenidos permitirán elaborar algunas pautas generales de intervención para favorecer las capacidades atencionales en alumnos de Educación Infantil.

[EN]The attention is a basic capacity that the whole student must develop to obtain an ideal learning and a school performance. Likewise, the stage of Children Education constitutes a very propitious moment for the intervention in the difficulties that can demonstrate in an early way in cognitive relevant capacities for the school performance, in order to anticipate the appearance of the most serious future problems. This way so this work has consisted of selecting first of a class of Children Education of three-year-old pupils, to those who were presenting problems of attention later to realize training by means of the application of a battery of tasks to improve the different aspects of the attention. The selection of the pupils has fulfilled by means of the application of a questionnaire both the teacher and the parents of the children / aces who wanted to take part in the study. To those that were obtaining major punctuation in the questionnaire a battery of activities was applied to them by the intention of which they were improving the above mentioned capacity of attention. Later it returned to administer the same questionnaire to the parents / mother and to the teacher of the pupils who had been trained. The obtained results will allow to elaborate some general guidelines of intervention to favor the capacities of attention in pupils of Children Education.
