(ES) Desde el nacimiento de un bebé es necesario estimular y ejercitar sus funciones motoras y
cognitivas básicas, con la finalidad de ir desarrollando diferentes habilidades necesarias. Un
niño con Síndrome de Down necesita potenciar su desarrollo consiguiendo no depender de una
tercera persona durante toda su vida. Por esta razón, es fundamental analizar la realidad de
estos niños y comprender su situación.
Se hace una revisión del Síndrome de Down, de la estimulación temprana y de los beneficios que
reporta. En este proyecto se plantea una propuesta de intervención destinada a niños con
Síndrome de Down con un rango de edad entre 0 y 3 años, pertenecientes a Down Jaén y
Provincia. Se han diseñado una serie de actividades para estos menores, con una duración de un
trimestre escolar, para favorecer y potenciar el desarrollo motor, cognitivo y socioafectivo, a
través de la estimulación temprana, para fomentar su autonomía.
