(EN) Mathematical anxiety (MA) is defined as a state of tension and/or negative emotional response that results in a lack of confidence of the student in their abilities to learn mathematics and solve mathematical problems, and as a consequence affects their academic performance. The MA is more frequent in the first years of primary education, although it can appear in any course of the academic stage, and can even affect the choice of university career, choosing those that exclude this subject. For this reason, in this intervention program it is proposed as a main objective, on the one hand, that students identify and decrease the negative symptoms associated with anxiety to mathematics, and, on the other hand, that the teachers in charge of the subject improve their teaching skills by improving the dynamics of the classes.
