Resumen
La relevancia de la inteligencia emocional está en constante crecimiento. Durante la adolescencia, los estudiantes se enfrentan a numerosos cambios y a situaciones complejas sin contar con las habilidades necesarias para superarlas con éxito. Con esto en mente, se ha diseñado un programa de inteligencia emocional dirigido al primer curso de Educación Secundaria con el objetivo de fomentar la inteligencia emocional como factor de protección. También, en varios grupos de este curso, hay antecedentes de escasas relaciones sociales con el grupo - clase y poca interacción, haciendo que en ocasiones les cueste comprender las emociones de otros y tampoco expresan correctamente las suyas. Este programa se llevará a cabo a lo largo del curso, abarcando los tres ámbitos de intervención de la Orientación Educativa. Todas las sesiones tienen como meta abordar los aspectos clave de la educación emocional como: la autoestima, el autoconocimiento, la regulación emocional y la empatía.

With this in mind, an emotional intelligence programme has been designed for the first year of Secondary Education with the aim of promoting emotional intelligence as a protective factor. Also, in several groups in this year, there is a history of poor social relations with the group - class and little interaction, sometimes making it difficult for them to understand the emotions of others and not expressing their own emotions correctly. This programme will be carried out throughout the school year, covering the three areas of intervention of Educational Guidance. All sessions aim to address key aspects of emotional education such as: self-esteem, self-knowledge, emotional regulation and empathy.
