Resumen
En este trabajo fin de grado se propone profundizar en las características del alumnado con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA, siglas empleadas en el resto del documento) y analizar la importancia de la equinoterapia para mejorar el desarrollo físico, psicológico y social del alumnado con TEA, presentando una propuesta de programa de intervención para la mejora de estos niños/as. El principal objetivo es sacarle partido a los beneficios que tienen para estos niños este tipo de terapias y la conexión con personas distintas a las que ellos están acostumbrados, en este caso, estas personas distintas serían sus terapeutas y demás personal del centro. Hay que romper esa barrera por la cual sólo existe relación con los maestros y compañeros del centro educativo y la familia.
In this thesis, it is proposed to delve into the characteristics of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and analyze the importance of equine therapy to improve the physical, psychological and social development of students with ASD, presenting a proposal for an intervention program for the improvement of these children. The main objective is to take advantage of the benefits that these types of therapies have for these children and the connection with different people that they are used to, in this case, these different people would be their therapists and other center staff. We have to break that barrier by which there is only a relationship with the teachers and classmates of the educational center and the family.
