La problemática de las madres e hijos/as en prisión

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado estudia la situación de las mujeres con hijos/as en los centros penitenciarios españoles. Mediante una búsqueda y el análisis de informes y estudios, se investigan las condiciones de vida tanto de los hijos/as como de las madres, resaltando los retos que estos enfrentan en la prisión, siendo uno de los más destacables el abandono del menor a los 3 años de edad. Se enfatiza el papel de los profesionales del Trabajo Social que tienen la capacidad de establecer estándares para el bienestar de los menores y sus madres en el ámbito penitenciarioThis Final Degree Project studies the situation of women with children in Spanish penitentiary centers. Through a search and analysis of reports and studies, the living conditions of both the children and the mothers are investigated, highlighting the challenges that they face in prison, one of the most notable being the abandonment of the minor at 3 years old. The role of Social Work professionals who have the ability to establish standards for the well-being of minors and their mothers in the penitentiary environment is emphasized
