[ES] El presente trabajo fin de grado consiste en un programa de intervención llevado a cabo en los centros educativos con el fin de reducir o eliminar los casos de absentismo escolar. Para hablar hoy en términos de absentismo se hace necesario conocer los conceptos, los tipos, las cifras del absentismo, las causas, las consecuencias y el papel de la familia en la escuela. En este trabajo se pretende destacar la importancia de la colaboración y la comunicación entre familia y escuela para afrontar de forma más eficaz la educación y el desarrollo de los niños/as. Desde este análisis se pretende conocer el papel que desempeña la familia y las instituciones educativas en el desarrollo íntegro del alumnado, y la necesidad de fomentar la participación y la colaboración, sabiendo que existen condicionantes en ambos contextos.
[EN] This dissertation consists of an intervention project carried out in educational centres with the aim of reducing or eliminating cases of truancy. Nowadays, in order to talk about truancy, it is necessary to know the concepts, types, figures, causes, consequences and the role of the family in the school. Thus, the aim of this work is to highlight the importance of collaboration and communication between family and school in order to deal more effectively with the education and development of children. For that purpose, this analysis will help understand the role played by the family and educational institutions in the full development of pupils, and the need to encourage participation and collaboration, knowing that there are conditioning factors in both contexts.
