The main proposal of this final degree work was to select and deploy an IoT Platform for the CEATIC Smart Lab, considering the devices housed in the Smart Lab and their specific data collection and processing needs. To do so, it was necessary to perform an analysis of the consolidated IoT platforms and all the devices housed in the Smart Lab. As a result of this analysis, the IoT platform named OpenHab was positioned as the best. The specific needs of the Smart Lab were identified and guided the deployment of the OpenHab-based IoT platform and its components. The specific functionalities of the Smart Lab, which did not encompass the OpenHab modules, were developed.
