Trabajo Social con personas con Trastorno del Espectro Autista y sus familias

Abstract

El presente trabajo consiste en una revisión bibliográfica a través del análisis de documentos y publicaciones científicas, bases de datos y libros sobre la temática a tratar con el fin de analizar y conocer las necesidades de las personas que presentan Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) y también las de sus familias. Asimismo, se realizará un estudio de la importante intervención de los/las trabajadores/a sociales como profesionales en la atención a estas necesidades y del rol fundamental que cumple la familia en la vida de las persona con TEA. Por otra parte, se pretende dar a conocer los distintos servicios y recursos a los que pueden tener acceso y se hará un análisis de una terapia que está demostrando esperanzadores resultados como es la equinoterapia, todo ello enmarcado desde el análisis de la Terapia Asistida con Animales (TAA).

The present work consists of a bibliographic review through the analysis of scientific documents and publications, databases and books on the subject to be treated in order to analyze and know the needs of people who present Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and also those of their families. Likewise, a study of the important intervention of the social workers as professionals in the attention to these needs and of the fundamental role that the family fulfills in the life of the person with ASD will be carried out. On the other hand, it is intended to publicize the various services and resources to which they can have access and an analysis will be made of a therapy that is showing encouraging results such as equine therapy, all framed from the analysis of Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT).
