A didactic proposal for the subject of Mathematics in Compulsory Secondary Education: “Algebra everywhere. Do you dare to find it?”

[ES]El principal objetivo de este trabajo fin de Máster es proponer una unidad didáctica basada en AICLE, diseñada para la asignatura de Matemáticas y para el 2º curso de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria en España. La finalidad de esta propuesta didáctica es mostrar cómo implementar de forma práctica AICLE y Álgebra en el aula, con el fin de ayudar al alumnado a desarrollar la expresión oral y la capacidad de comprensión en inglés al mismo tiempo que desarrollan la competencia matemática. Este trabajo incluye las principales partes de las que consta una unidad didáctica: justificación, contextualización, competencias clave, objetivos, contenidos, metodología, planificación y temporalización de la unidad y evaluación. En particular, se presta especial atención a dos estrategias metodológicas: los grupos interactivos y la clase invertida. Además, se han diseñado una gran variedad de materiales originales para cubrir tanto los contenidos de la materia como los contenidos lingüísticos.
[EN] The main objective of this dissertation is to propose a didactic unit based on CLIL and designed for the subject of Mathematics and for the 2nd year of Compulsory Secondary Education in Spain. This didactic proposal aims to show in a practical way how to implement CLIL and Algebra in the classroom, in order to help students to develop oral expression and comprehension skills in English at the same time as they develop mathematical competence. This dissertation includes the main sections of a didactic unit: justification, contextualization, key competences, objectives, contents, methodology, lesson plan and assessment. In particular, this dissertation pays special attention to two methodological strategies: interactive groups and the Flipped classroom. Furthermore, a wide range of original materials has been designed to cover both subject and language contents.
