LA SITUACIÓN DE LAS MUJERES EN EL MERCADO LABORAL ESPAÑOL. UN ENFOQUE DE GÉNERO

Abstract

A lo largo de los años, la presencia de las mujeres en el mercado de trabajo se ha ido incrementando, sin embargo, a pesar de este aumento y de las políticas públicas desarrolladas e implementadas para una mayor equidad en el empleo, las mujeres siguen estando a la cabeza en cuanto a discriminación laboral. El presente estudio, se centrará en mostrar a través de un enfoque de género, la evolución que han tenido las mujeres en el ámbito laboral. Además, se estudia si este fenómeno ha supuesto un cambio en el mercado de trabajo español, y, si a su vez, ha logrado integrar a la mujer en condiciones de igualdad y equidad.

Along the years, the presence of women in the labor market has been increasing, however, despite of this increasement and the public policies developed and implemented for greater equity in employment, women are still in the lead regarding labor discrimination. This study, will focus on showing through a gender approach, the evolution of women in the workplace. Furthermore, it checks whether this phenomenon has led to a change in the Spanish labor market, and, at the same time, if it has managed to integrate women in conditions of equality and equity.
