Cuidando al cuidador: programa de resiliencia y regulación emocional en cuidadores de pacientes de EA para la mejora del bienestar percibido

(ES)La Enfermedad de Alzheimer es una patología con repercusiones en la vida del paciente y sus familiares. La
frecuente delegación de cuidados en familiares, denominados cuidadores/as informales, permite observar un
alto nivel de sobrecarga emocional causado por dicha labor. El presente trabajo propone la aplicación de un
programa de intervención que emplea estrategias de regulación emocional y el entrenamiento en aptitudes
resilientes con el propósito de conseguir la mejora del bienestar subjetivo de los cuidadores/as informales de
pacientes de Alzheimer. La muestra estará compuesta por 30 cuidadores informales de la Asociación de
Familiares de enfermos de Alzheimer “La Estrella” de Jaén. El programa consta de 12 sesiones, entre las que
se incluyen las sesiones de evaluación pre-post y seguimiento, realizada tres meses después de terminar la
intervención. Se espera que, tras la práctica, los/as cuidadores/as aprendan técnicas de regulación emocional
y aumenten su nivel de resiliencia, incrementándose su bienestar percibido.

The present work proposes the application of an intervention program that uses emotional regulation strategies and training in resilient skills with the purpose of improving the subjective well-being of informal caregivers of Alzheimer's patients. The sample will be made up of 30 informal caregivers from the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients “La Estrella” of Jaén.
