Resumen
El desempleo y la precariedad laboral son las principales características del mercado laboral juvenil,
siendo esta una problemática de especial interés debido a la importancia de este capital humano para
el desarrollo de las sociedades. Este trabajo contextualiza la trayectoria del mercado laboral juvenil
en las últimas dos décadas teniendo en cuenta los efectos que las diferentes crisis económicas y las
distintas reformas laborales han provocado en la población joven. Posteriormente, se encuadra la
situación actual de la juventud respecto a la precariedad laboral y el desempleo. Esta situación trae
consigo una serie de consecuencias psicosociales que serán desarrolladas a lo largo del trabajo como
son la emancipación tardía, la pérdida de la identidad, la normalización de la incertidumbre, la
exclusión social, el riesgo de accidentes laborales y problemas de salud mental. Por último, se abordará la situación específica de las mujeres jóvenes con perspectiva de género
Unemployment and job insecurity are the main characteristics of the youth labor market, a problem of special interest due to the importance of this human capital for the development of societies. This paper contextualizes the trajectory of the youth labor market in the last two decades, taking into account the effects that the different economic crises and labor reforms have had on the young population. Subsequently, it frames the current situation of young people with respect to job insecurity and unemployment. This situation brings with it a series of psychosocial consequences that will be developed throughout the work, such as late emancipation, loss of identity, normalization of uncertainty, social exclusion, risk of occupational accidents and mental health problems. Finally, the specific situation of young women will be addressed from a gender perspective
