Resumen
En el presente trabajo se hace una revisión sobre la dislexia en adultos, que es un tema poco estudiado en la actualidad, ya que la dislexia siempre ha quedado ligada a edades tempranas en las que se adquiere la lectoescritura. Se explican a su vez los principales procesos lectores, haciendo hincapié en los de reconocimiento léxico. Se describen las características de la dislexia en términos generales, para profundizar después en la dislexia en la edad adulta, en particular en las herramientas para la evaluación y diagnóstico de la dislexia en esta etapa y en las adaptaciones de las que personas en esta situación podrían beneficiarse.
The present project aims to gather the important information about dyslexia in adults, which is an understudied topic, as dyslexia has always been linked to early ages, when children develop literacy. In order to do so, a literature review has been carried out by selecting different information sources and analyzing the results obtained. The reading processes will be explained, emphasizing in the lexical process. Also, the main characteristics of dyslexia will be described, focusing afterwards on dyslexia in adults, particularly in the evaluation and diagnostic tools available for adults nowadays and the curriculum adaptations that people in this situation could benefit from.
