EL BILINGÜISMO EN ESPAÑOL E INGLÉS EN EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL: UNA COMPARATIVA DE DIFERENTES METODOLOGÍAS

Abstract

[ES]Hoy en día, la metodología bilingüe para el aprendizaje las lenguas español e inglés se está implementado y fomentando a través de las escuelas primarias. En consecuencia, algunos colegios ofrecen la posibilidad de comenzar a aprender dos lenguas desde el segundo ciclo de Educación Infantil. Partiendo de esta realidad, la presente investigación ha recogido información sobre la enseñanza bilingüe en este contexto, con la finalidad de investigar cómo son implantadas estas metodologías y analizar los problemas y obstáculos que surgen. A través de un cuestionario se han obtenido datos sobre las diferentes técnicas y recursos de los docentes, dando información sobre cómo ponen en práctica este tipo de enseñanza. De esta forma, se han podido vislumbrar las ventajas y desventajas que supone implantar el bilingüismo en la etapa infantil, lo que puede dar claves prácticas para los maestros que trabajan esta cuestión en dicha etapa.

[EN]Nowadays, bilingual methodology for learning English and Spanish is being implemented and encouraged through Primary Schools. Consequently, some schools offer the opportunity to begin learning two languages from the second cycle of Early Childhood Education. Based on this fact, the present research has collected information about bilingual teaching strategies in this context, in order to investigate how these methodologies are implemented and analyze the problems and obstacles that arise. Through a questionnaire, data about different techniques and resources for teachers was collected, gathering information about how to put into practice this type of education. Thus, it was possible to glimpse the advantages and disadvantages of implementing bilingualism in the infant developmental stage, which may give clues for teachers working on this issue at this stage.
