[EN] The malacological diversity presents in the province of Almería (Spain) is very important because there are numerous endemic species. In the present study, the malacofauna of the south of the province of Almería is described and the list of terrestrial gastropod species and their distribution in the studied area is updated. After this study, 17 species belonging to nine genera and six families have been found, of which, the most abundant were those belonging to the family Helicidae, highlighting the species of the genera Otala and Iberus, both appearing more frequently in the studied area, especially those of the genus Otala, with three taxa (including species and subspecies). Regarding the genus Iberus, five taxa (including species and subspecies) have been found, among them Iberus gualtieranus gualtieranus, which is very important because it is endemic to the south of the Iberian Peninsula being considered as an "endangered" species.
