Eutanasia desde una perspectiva del trabajo social

Abstract

El tema de la eutanasia ha estado presente a lo largo de los años por la controversia generada en cuanto a la misma. En el presente trabajo se aborda la nueva ley de regulación de eutanasia haciendo una revisión sobre los cambios habidos con esta nueva legislación, y mirándolo además desde una perspectiva jurídica, también desde una perspectiva social. Teniendo en cuenta que la muerte forma parte de la vida, el trabajo social forma parte del proceso de muerte, utilizando los recursos que la sociedad ofrece, fomentando su autodeterminación y defendiendo por que realicen una práctica consciente de su libertad, y por último dando atención al duelo

The issue of euthanasia has been present over the years because of the controversy generated regarding it. This paper addresses the new law on the regulation of euthanasia by reviewing the changes that have occurred with this new legislation, and also looking at it from a legal perspective, also from a social perspective. Taking into account that death is part of life, social work is part of the process of death, using the resources that society offers, promoting their selfͲdetermination and advocating for them to carry out a conscious practice of their freedom, and finally giving attention to grief
