Abandono escolar en el alumnado gitano. Proyecto de investigación

Abstract

Este Trabajo Fin de Grado consta de una revisión bibliográfica y de una propuesta de investigación sobre el Abandono Escolar Temprano en el alumnado gitano. A lo largo de este trabajo se explica el fenómeno, sus causas y cómo influye sobre este alumnado. Además se da una perspectiva de género sobre el abandono, ya que suele influir más en las jóvenes que en los jóvenes gitanos. Por otro lado se expone el papel del sistema educativo en cuanto a la inclusión de este alumnado, y es que, las escuelas/institutos juegan un papel importante para que se dé o no este fenómeno del abandono. Por último, se habla sobre la labor del Trabajo social ene le sistema educativo, y sobre las funciones frente a la prevención del abandono tempranoThis Final Degree Project consists of a literature review and a research proposal on Early School Leaving among gypsy students. Throughout this work, the phenomenon, its causes and how it influences these students are explained. In addition, a gender perspective on dropout is given, since it tends to influence young women more than young gypsies. On the other hand, the role of the educational system in terms of the inclusion of these students is discussed, and the fact that schools/institutes play an important role in whether or not this dropout phenomenon occurs. Finally, the work of social work in the educational system is discussed, as well as its functions in the prevention of early school leaving
