Resumen
El presente trabajo estudia la influencia y comportamiento de la adición de dispositivos flexibles pasivos para la
reducción de la resistencia aerodinámica a la que se ven sometidos vehículos pesados. Para ello, se utilizan
diversas técnicas experimentales para caracterizar las fuerzas actuantes sobre el modelo utilizado, así como
obtener medidas de presión para comprobar lo que ocurre en la estela, y estudiar la dinámica y oscilaciones del
sistema flexible implementado (interacción fluido-estructura).
In the present work, experimental research is carried out with the aim of determining the behaviour and the effects the implementation of flexible, passive devices for drag reduction has on the wake of bluff bodies. To that aim, several techniques are employed, with the objective of studying the forces that act on the model, as well as the phenomena occurring in the wake via pressure measurements, and the oscillations and dynamics the device presents when exposed to the airflow (FSI).
