El patrimonio arquitectónico medieval de Baeza y su evolución hasta la actualidad

Abstract

(ES)Baeza es una Ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad, título otorgado por la UNESCO por su conjunto monumental renacentista. Sin embargo, el patrimonio baezano es mucho más amplio que ese contexto. Intentaremos en el presente trabajo abordar el rico patrimonio arquitectónico medieval, cimiento del renacentista, desde un punto de vista histórico y artístico, dando valor de esta forma a tal período de la historia baezana.(EN)Baeza is a World Heritage City, a title awarded by UNESCO for its Renaissance monumental complex. However, Baeza's heritage is much broader than that context. In this work we will try to address the rich medieval architectural heritage, the foundation of the Renaissance, from a historical and artistic point of view, thus giving value to such period of Baeza's history.
