LA GESTIÓN EN LA EMPRESA FAMILIAR APLICANDO CASOS PRÁCTICOS

Abstract

[ES] Se entiende por empresa familiar, aquella cuya propiedad y gobernanza es llevada a cabo por una unidad familiar. Entre sus objetivos principales destaca la persistencia de la empresa por parte de las siguientes generaciones. Además, es importante saber diferenciar entre empresa, familia y propiedad para evitar que los términos se solapen y den lugar a diferentes problemas.

En este trabajo se lleva a cabo un enfoque teórico de la gestión de las empresas familiares y se estudian los puntos debilidades que tiene una empresa familiar. Estos puntos teóricos son aplicados en concreto a una de las mayores empresas familiares de España, como es Mercadona, pasando a continuación, a hacer una comparativa con una empresa familiar de nuestra provincia. Dicha empresa familiar es panadería y pastelería Benítez dedicada a la fabricación de pan y dulces artesanales desde el año 1870.

[EN] Family business is understood to be one whose heritage and government is carried out by a family unit. One of its main objectives is the continuity of the company by the following generations. Also, it is important to differentiate between business, family and property, in order to avoid overlapping terms and giving rise to different problems.

In this work there is carried out a theoretical exposition of the management of the family enterprises and there are studied the strong points and weaknesses that a family enterprise has. These theoretical points are applied in I make concrete to one of the major family enterprises of Spain, since it is Mercadona, happening later, to making one comparative with a family enterprise of the province of Jaen. The above mentioned family enterprise is bakery and pastry shop Benítez dedicated to the manufacture of bread and domestic sweets from the year 1870.
