[ES] Quesada ha estado ligada desde siglos muy tempranos a la presencia árabe e islámica en la península ibérica desde la llegada de los musulmanes en el 711 y tras la conquista cristiana dada su situación de ciudad fronteriza con el resto de al-Andalus: el reino Nazarí de Granada. Por ello, ha estado presente en los distintos vaivenes históricos que enfrentaron a musulmanes y cristianos: los primeros defendiendo su tierra y los segundos intentando conquistarla. A través de la Colección diplomática de Quesada editada por J. M. Carriazo, vamos a estudiar el término “moros” en los documentos donde aparecen con el objetivo de exponer la visión del musulmán que reflejan estos textos en un entorno geográfico y espacial determinado.
[EN] Quesada has been linked from very early centuries to the Arab and Islamic presence in the Iberian Peninsula since the arrival of the Muslims in 711 and after the Christian conquest given its situation as a border city with the rest of al-Andalus: the Nasrid kingdom of Granada. For this reason, it has been present in the different historical ups and downs that Muslims and Christians faced: the former defending their land and the latter trying to conquer it. Through the Colección diplomática de Quesada edited by J. M. Carriazo, we are going to study the term "Moors" in the documents where they appear with the aim of exposing the vision of the Muslim that these texts reflect in a specific geographical and spatial environment.
