[en] This project focuses on the realisation of an experimental setup for the application of the laser speckle interferometry technique shearography, for the qualitative detection of defects in different types of materials with different applied deformations (mechanical and thermal). An introduction to the different techniques based on laser interferometry is presented: speckle interferometry, Michelson interferometer, out-of-plane ESPI, in-plane ESPI and shearography. A Matlab-based software tool is programmed to manage the optical information of the technique obtained from a camera and to process the results. A precise description of the equipment used to carry out the tests is given, as well as a description of the procedures and calibrations necessary for the correct performance of the tests. The results obtained from the experiments carried out are presented and, finally, the results obtained are analysed and discussed.
