Resumen
[ES] Tras revisar la literatura científica, se ha observado que muchas mujeres que atraviesan la
etapa de la menopausia experimentansíntomas de ansiedad y depresión debido a diversos factores,
como los cambios hormonales o el estrés. En respuesta a esta necesidad, se ha desarrollado este
programa de intervención basado en mindfulness, dirigido específicamente a mujeres en esta etapa
que no tienen patologías previas ni practican ningún tipo de meditación. El programa consta de 8
sesiones basadas en prácticas de mindfulness. Para evaluar la efectividad del programa, se utilizarán
dos instrumentos de evaluación: la Escala de Ansiedad y Depresión de Goldberg (EADG) y el
Cuestionario Mindfulness de Cinco Facetas (FFMQ-E). Estos instrumentos se aplicarán en tres fases de
evaluación: pre-test, pos-test y seguimiento. Se espera que tras la realización de este programa, las
mujeres en esta etapa prevengan posibles sintomatologías ansioso-depresivas y adquieran hábitos de
autocuidado basados en mindfulness.
[EN] After reviewing the scientific literature, it has been observed that many women going through menopause experience symptoms of anxiety and depression due to various factors, such as hormonal changes or stress. In response to this need, this mindfulness-based intervention program has been developed, specifically targeted at women in this stage who do not have previous pathologies or practice any type of meditation. The program consists of 8 sessions based on mindfulness practices. To evaluate the effectiveness of the program, two assessment instruments will be used: the Goldberg Anxiety and Depression Scale (GADS) and the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ-E). These instruments will be applied in three evaluation phases: pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. It is expected that through this program, women in this stage will acquire tools and preventpossible anxiety-depressive symptoms.
