[EN] The purpose of this paper is to investigate about the andalucians soprano María Galvany (1875 – 1927) and contribute to the recognition of his career as a lyrical singer. After carrying out the theoretical foundation focused on lyrical singers in Spain in the 19th and early 20th centuries in Spain, we focus our attention on the figure of Galvany, her biography and main professional milestones, highlighting the importance of this in the history of the lyrical in our country and the great ignorance that exists about it. After that, the reasons for the inclusion of opera in Secondary Education are analyzed, investigating different examples of projects that carry out this work in Spain and other countries. Then, we propose a didactic project synthesized in a Didactic Unit called Ópera Prima, whose main objective is to work on the elements of the current curriculum pertaining to opera, through the figure of María Galvany and her main lyrical roles, recognizing and appreciating a representative of culture and folklore in our community, and reflecting on the role of women in the musical context of the time and in the different opera librettos.
