The aim is to examine the differences between adolescents with: a) social phobia but only specifier; b) social phobia, both interaction and performance; c) social phobia, but without the specifier, and d) healthy control subjects, in variables such as: gender, symptoms of social anxiety and depression, the quality of life, age of onset of disorder, the severity of disorder and comorbidity with other disorders. An additional objective is to assess whether the presence of comorbidity vs. pure disorder, plays a role in the presence of the specifier. The results showed differences between the four conditions in almost all such variables. However, no differences were shown in most conditions to take account of the disorder comorbidity.
