[EN] Access to education is one of the most significant achievements for women in their fight for equality. Since then, there have been many changes leading up to the current coeducational system. However, even with higher involvement in the educational system, better grades and more training, we continue to observe that the public participation of women is scarce. Why is this still happening after the implementation of laws for equality? This document will highlight the different reasons for this discrimination and the mechanisms present in the educational system, which perpetuate our androcentric culture. At the end, the processes of change to a new coeducational system to replace the insufficiency of the current one adapted to the society of the 21st century and its necessity will be proposed.
