Resumen
La finalidad de este trabajo ha sido realizar una revisión acerca de los test utilizados para el cribado y diagnóstico de los trastornos del sueño-vigilia, queriendo hacer hincapié en las ventajas y desventajas que tiene cada test y si es preferible la utilización de uno sobre otro según el caso. Para ello se hará una explicación sobre qué es un trastorno del sueño-vigilia, la prevalencia que tienen en la población tanto adulta como adolescente e infantil y qué factores influyen en estos. También se dará una breve descripción del funcionamiento del ciclo del sueño, las sustancias y estructuras que influyen en el sueño
The aim about this work is a revision about sleep test and questionnaires used for diagnosis of sleep disorders. The main objetive is to discuss about advantages and disadvantages that every mentioned test have and if it is necessary to use one test over others to have a better diagnosis. First, there would be an explanation about what is a sleep disorder, which is the prevalence in the population since childs to adults, and which are the factors that have influence over this disorder. There would also a little explanation about how sleep cycle Works and which substances and structures are involved in sleep.
