Resumen
La Inteligencia Emocional se considera un factor importante en el desarrollo del ser humano. La enseñanza y la práctica de ésta, a menudo, parece ocasionar problemas, mayormente en niños/as con necesidades educativas especiales. Los individuos con trastorno del espectro autista sufren dificultades en diferentes ámbitos, déficits que resultan esenciales para contribuir a un buen desarrollo integral de la persona. El presente proyecto pretende mostrar cuales son las características y dificultades que presentan este tipo de alumnado. Además, recoge las diferentes bases teóricas acerca de la inteligencia emocional y profundiza en diferentes programas existentes donde se trabaja este aspecto con este tipo de alumnado. Para finalizar, y con el objetivo de mejorar las habilidades sociales y emocionales del alumnado con TEA, se ha diseñado un proyecto de intervención educativa, destinado a niños/as con Trastorno del Espectro Autista en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Éste tiene una duración de dos meses aproximadamente y cuenta con catorce sesiones, dos cada semana.

Individuals suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have difficulties in different situations, deficits which are essential for a good comprehensive development of the human being. This project tries to show the characteristics and difficulties which this kind of student has. As well as, several theoretical bases about Emotional Intelligence and it studies in more detail current programs where this aspect is being conducted. Finally, so as to be able to improve the social and emotional abilities of ASD students, a project will be designed about educational intervention dedicated to children suffering from ASD in their early education. This lasts approximately two months and has fourteen sessions, two each week.
