Resumen
(ES) La diabetes tipo 1 es una enfermedad crónica que afecta a gran parte de la población infanto-juvenil. Esto
genera un gran impacto psicosocial en la vida de quien la padece, que puede desarrollar problemas
emocionales como ansiedad y depresión, peor rendimiento académico y problemas de conducta. Asimismo,
estos problemas pueden afectar negativamente al tratamiento de la enfermedad. Por ello, el presente trabajo
desarrolla un programa de intervención sobre la gestión emocional de la población infanto-juvenil entre 8 y
15 años que padecen diabetes tipo 1, con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida de estos pacientes y su
autoestima, que adquieran estrategias de afrontamiento y habilidades de gestión emocional adecuadas,
acepten y se adapten a la enfermedad. Se realizará en 6 sesiones, mediante la aplicación de psicoeducación,
técnicas de gestión emocional basadas en la Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual, Terapia de Aceptación y
Compromiso y Terapia Cognitiva Basada en Atención plena.

This generates a great psychosocial impact on the life of the sufferer, who may develop emotional problems such as anxiety and depression, poorer academic performance and behavioral problems. Likewise, these problems can negatively affect the treatment of the disease. Therefore, the present work develops an intervention program on the emotional management of the infant-juvenile population between 8 and 15 years who suffer from type 1 diabetes, with the aim of improving the quality of life of these patients and their self-esteem, that they acquire coping strategies and appropriate emotional management skills, accept and adapt to the disease. It will be carried out in 6 sessions, through the application of psychoeducation, emotional management techniques based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
