Resumen
[ES] Este trabajo versará sobre el Concierto para Tuba y Brass Band de Edward Gregson. Dicho concierto es uno de los más importantes dentro del mundo de la tuba como instrumento solista, el cual exige al interprete un gran dominio técnico para su correcta interpretación.
Para superar este tipo de conciertos, es indispensable organizar un estudio eficaz de las dificultades técnicas que presenta. Con este objeto, se ha creado una guía de ejercicios teórico-prácticos para solventar los problemas técnicos que surjan a lo largo de la obra, con un total de 59 ejercicios.
Basándose en las características propias de esta investigación, se realizará una aproximación a la investigación artística y performativa en la práctica musical. Se finalizará con la interpretación de los datos obtenidos en una encuesta realizada a estudiantes y profesores de tuba en estudios superiores en Andalucía, recopilando su opinión acerca de la guía de ejercicios propuesta.
[EN] This work will deal with the Concert for Tuba and Brass Band by Edward Gregson. This concert is one of the most important within the works for tuba soloist, which requires that the interpreter has a great dominion over the instrument. To overcome this type of concert, it is essential to organize an effective study of the different technical difficulties it presents. To this end, a guide of theoretical-practical exercises has been created to solve the technical problems that arise throughout the work, with a total of 59 exercises. Then, based on the characteristics of this research, an approximation will be made about the artistic and performative research in the musical practice. It will be concluded with the interpretation of the data obtained in a survey of students and teachers of tuba in higher studies in Andalucía, collecting their opinion about the proposed exercise guide.
