Resumen
Comprobado el elevado peso que el sector turístico tiene dentro de la
actividad económica andaluza, en este trabajo se han analizado
diversos indicadores, como han sido la población activa y ocupada, el
número de afiliados a la Seguridad Social, el de contratos registrados
y el de demandantes de empleo, así como su evolución en el periodo
de 2009 a 2020. Este trabajo ha permitido apreciar la profundidad de
la crisis económica y social desatada por la pandemia de Covid-19,
establecer el punto de partida de la recuperación, una vez que se
superen sus efectos, y conocer las expectativas del empleo en la
actividad turística en un futuro inmediato.
Además, los diversos análisis han permitido identificar necesidades
del sector para afrontar con eficacia la recuperación de los niveles
de actividad económica y de empleo existentes con anterioridad a la
crisis.
Having verified the high weight that tourism sector has within Andalusian economic activity, in this work various indicators have been analyzed, such as the active and employed population, the number of Social Security affiliates, the number of registered contracts and the number of jobseekers, as well as their evolution in the period from 2009 to 2020. This work has allowed us appreciating the depth of the economic and social crisis unleashed by the Covid-19 pandemic, establishing the starting point of recovery, once its effects are overcome, and knowing the employment expectations in the tourist activity in the immediate future. In addition, various analyzes have let us identify the needs of the sector to effectively face the recovery of the levels of economic activity and employment that existed before the crisis.
