An analysis of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and its adaptations on screen: the hero's journey

Abstract

(ES) En este trabajo de fin de grado haré una pequeña introducción al romance de caballeria Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, para después meternos de lleno en sus adaptaciones cinematográficas y marcar las diferencias existentes entre el poema y estas. Finalizaré con una breve conclusión en la que hablaremos un poco sobre el concepto del viaje del héroe y su papel dentro de estas películas.(EN) In this final thesis I will make a short introduction to the chivalric romance Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and then we will get into its film adaptations and mark the differences between the poem and these. I will end with a brief conclusion in which we will talk a little about the concept of the hero's journey and its role in these films.
