In the middle of the 20th century, the rise of the process of social individualization initiated a new stage in the liberalization and modernization of women. This process resulted in a sociodemographic change in Spain with the creation of the single-person household. In Spain, the single-person household has had a great impact and sociodemographic growth, being one of the most formed households at present. This will continue to increase in the coming years. The single-person household has also brought consequences such as the social and economic vulnerability that single- person households can have. Many of the people who live alone suffer unwanted loneliness and poverty in their homes, leading to the marginalization and exclusion of these households in society. Therefore, Social Work observes the various methods to solve and reduce the risk of social exclusion in single-person households
