Resumen
(ES) Antecedentes: los sujetos con adicciones se caracterizan por tener dificultades para manejar sus
emociones. La regulación emocional (RE) es un proceso para gestionar las emociones propias y de los
demás. Metodología: se ha realizado una búsqueda por la literatura en la base de datos (Pubmed, Medline y
PsycINFO). Siguiendo una serie de criterios de inclusión y de exclusión, obtuvimos ocho estudios para
llevar a cabo la revisión sistemática. Resultados: se encontró una relación significativa entre la RE y
tratamientos de la adicción. Los resultados de este estudio sugieren que la capacidad para regular las
emociones negativas intensas es eficaz para el tratamiento de la adicción. Conclusión: hay un acuerdo entre
todos los estudios revisados en cuanto a la eficacia de los tratamientos de la adicción basados en la RE, por
ello, habría que considerar estos resultados y reforzar con programas de regulación emocional en los
tratamientos de las adicciones
(EN) Background: subjects with addictions are characterized by having difficulties managing their emotions. Emotion regulation (ER) is a process to manage one's own emotions and those of others. The results of this study suggest that the ability to regulate intense negative emotions is effective in treating addiction. Conclusion: there is agreement among all the studies reviewed regarding the efficacy of addiction treatments based on ER, therefore, these results should be considered and reinforced with emotional regulation programs in addiction treatments.
