[EN] People throughout history have had the ability to rebuild and improve their lives despite constantly having to deal with different adverse situations. These situations are further aggravated when they are related to a disease or pathology and, in addition, when factors such as the chronicity of the disease and the appearance of the disease at an early age are combined. At this time, resilience-based intervention programs are crucial for both, the families of these children and for the children who are suffering from the disease. With the goal of improving family resilience levels in this context, a program has been developed based on improving emotional intelligence, increasing communication skills, improving self-esteem and finally, in promotion and strengthening of social and family relations. Everything mentioned through a cooperative methodology and based on dynamics of groups, with the goal of achieving resilience in each member of the participating families.
