Resumen
[ES]El presente trabajo trata el cultivo de la vid, partiendo de una visión global
hasta llegar a un ámbito de estudio concreto, Castilla-La Mancha. Todo ello, desde la
perspectiva del paisaje agrario, del patrimonio agrario y del desarrollo rural. Primero,
se hace referencia a los objetivos que se persiguen, a los antecedentes, al ámbito
espacio-temporal y al marco teórico. Seguidamente, en la fase de resultados, se alude
exclusivamente a la zona de Castilla-La Mancha en relación a dicho cultivo y a los
territorios en los que se encuentra, a la importancia paisajística y patrimonial que
comportan y a las experiencias e iniciativas que se han llevado a cabo en dicha zona.
Por último, se establecen una serie de propuestas dirigidas a conseguir que los paisajes
vinícolas de varios municipios castellanos-manchegos sean incluidos en la Lista del
Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.
[EN]The present research focuses on the grapevine farming, starting on a global vision of the phenomenon until reaching a concrete area of study: Castilla- La Mancha region. The study is laid out from the perspective of agricultural landscape, agricultural heritage, and rural development. The first part presents the objectives of the investigation, previous studies, and its space-time and theoretical frame. Next, on the results phase, the attention is solely on the Castilla-La Mancha region and its relation to grapevine farming, the location of the crops, its landscape and heritage importance, and the experiences and initiatives held in those areas. The last part offers a set of proposals aimed at presenting the grapevine farming landscapes of Castilla-La Mancha as a prospect to be included on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
