El sistema público español de pensiones y su sostenibilidad

Abstract

A lo largo de estos años, se ha venido notando que el sistema de pensiones carece de una sostenibilidad real y efectiva; y, por lo tanto, no es un problema actual que se ha generado. Tras la crisis de carácter económico en la que se vio envuelta España, este problema se acrecentó de manera más progresiva y se comenzaron a ver los verdaderos problemas de viabilidad del Sistema. Por lo que en este trabajo hemos llevado a cabo no solo un análisis evolutivo del Sistema de Pensiones en España o de los factores que influyeron en él, sino también de las continuas reformas que se han ido realizando para alcanzar un sistema sostenible que abarque la acción protectora de la sociedad ante las necesidades sociales de los ciudadanos. Para ello han surgido muchos cambios, y con ello, diferentes reformas que darán como resultado nuestro actual Sistema de Pensiones. Throughout these years, it has been perceived that the pension system lacks real and effective sustainability; and, therefore, it is not a current problem that has been generated. After the economic crisis in which Spain found itself, this problem grew more acute and the real problems of the system's viability began to be seen. Therefore, in this work we have not only carried out an evolutionary analysis of the Pension System in Spain or the factors that influenced it, but also of the continuous reforms that have been carried out to achieve a sustainable system that encompasses the protective action of society in the face of the social needs of citizens. To this end, many changes have emerged, and with them, different reforms that will result in our current Pension System.
