The following work presents the approach of a case of schizophrenia with the presence of positive symptoms (resistant to medication). The objectives pursued have been to strengthen medication adherence, achieve better emotional management and reduce the interference of auditory hallucinations in their daily lives. The intervention is framed within the cognitive behavioral model combined with the use of other tools. It has been carried out in three phases that have consisted of psychoeducation, training and reassessment-monitoring. Finding large changes in the pre and post treatment evaluation, it being fundamental the work carried out in the attention area through the Wells attention training technique (1990).
