“HOMOSEXUALIDAD SIN FECHA DE CADUCIDAD” ESTUDIO EXPLORATORIO SOBRE LAS NECESIDADES Y EXPECTATIVAS DE FUTURO DE LOS ADULTOS MAYORES LGTB EN JAÉN

Abstract

Estudio exploratorio con doble finalidad: en primer lugar, analizar y explorar las necesidades de las personas adultas mayores homosexuales en Jaén; en segundo lugar, indagar en equipamientos, servicios, programas… tienen o no en cuenta la realidad de las personas mayores homosexuales a la hora de ofrecer dichos servicios. Se investiga la realidad de este colectivo actualmente, para proponer un modelo especializado para este colectivo y dar visibilización y dar voz a gais y lesbianas que han vivido durante años en silencio y han sido perseguidos por ser homosexuales, durante la dictadura del franquismo. Por lo tanto, proponer una intervención desde nuestra profesión esté fundamentado en creación de competencias de afrontamiento y otro modelo centrado en aspectos que preocupan al colectivo. Para ello, se realiza un análisis documental sobre mayores y homosexualidad, estudio científico llevado acabo sobre esta temática. Para llevar a cabo este estudio se han realizado entrevistas semiestructuradas, por lo que hemos utilizado el método cualitativo.

Exploratory study with double purpose: firstly, to analyze and explore the needs of gay senior citizens in Jaén; Secondly, to investigate equipment, services, programs... whether or not they take into account the reality of homosexual seniors when offering such services. We are currently investigating the reality of this group, to propose a specialized model for this group and give visibility and give voice to gays and lesbians who have lived for years in silence and have been persecuted for being homosexual during the Franco dictatorship. Therefore, proposing an intervention from our profession is based on the creation of coping skills and another model focused on aspects that concern the group. To do this, a documentary analysis is carried out on the elderly and homosexuality, a scientific study carried out on this subject. In order to carry out this study, semi-structured interviews have been conducted, so we have used the qualitative method.
