The value of literary texts for the successful development of CLIL

Abstract

[ES]Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se centra en el uso de textos literarios como recursos de aprendizaje en AICLE. Incluye una revisión de la literatura sobre AICLE, con un enfoque en España y en Andalucía, el currículo integrado, el Currículo Integrado de las Lenguas y el Proyecto Lingüístico de Centro. La literatura infantil es definida, clasificada y las razones que justifican el uso de los textos literarios son evidenciadas y se incluyen criterios para seleccionar textos literarios. Por último, se incluye una unidad de programación para 3o de Educación Primaria en la cual se han diseñado dos situaciones de aprendizaje, una para Conocimiento del Medio Natural, Social y Cultural y otra para Inglés como Lengua Extranjera. Estas situaciones de aprendizaje evidenciarán la versatilidad de los textos literarios, con el libro “Charlie y la Fábrica de Chocolate”, de Roald Dahl, como hilo conductor.

[EN]This Master’s Dissertation focuses on the use of literary texts as learning resources in CLIL. It includes a revision of literature about CLIL, with a focus on Spain and Andalusia, the integrated curriculum, the Integrated Language Curriculum and the School Language Project. Children’s literature is defined, classified and the reasons that justify the usage of literary texts are evidenced and the criteria for selecting literary texts are included. Lastly, a teaching unit for 3rd grade of Primary Education is included with two learning scenarios, one for Natural and Social Sciences and another for English as a Foreign Language. These learning scenarios will evidence the versatility of literary texts, with the book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, by Roald Dahl, as the common thread.
