PETENERA POPULAR: PROCESO CREATIVO DE UNA OBRA PARA ENSEMBLE DE VIOLAS

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo consiste en una investigación artística que muestra el proceso creativo realizado al componer una pieza para ensemble de violas inspirada en una canción del folklore Andaluz, en concreto, en unas Peteneras. En un primer lugar, se realizó una aproximación a este género, buscando comprender en qué consiste una Petenera y cuales son sus características musicales. Asimismo, se investigó como algunos compositores nacionalistas se basaban en este tipo de pieza para crear algunas de sus obras. Al tratarse de una investigación artística, se ha incluido una memoria que narra los pasos seguidos por la autora para crear esta obra, explicando el por qué de las decisiones tomadas y las fuentes de inspiración para elaborar esta pieza.[EN] This work consists of an artistic investigation that shows the creative process carried out to compose a piece for an ensemble of violas inspired by a song from Andalusian folklore, specifically, in the “Peteneras”. First of all, an approach to this genre was made , trying to understand what a Petenera consists of and what its musical characteristics are. Likewise, it was investigated how some nationalist composers relied on this type of piece to create some of their works. As it is an artistic investigation, a memoir has been included that narrates the steps followed by the author to create this work, explaining the reasons for the decisions taken and the sources of inspiration to create this piece.
