La pintura del renacimiento en España: Jaén y la figura de Pedro Machuca

Abstract

[ES]El siglo XVI, siglo de la pintura del Renacimiento en España, estará marcado por la introducción del nuev o modelo procedente de Italia. Esto junto con la nueva mentalidad y el avance de las técnicas pictóricas, hará n que España se encuentre ante una dicotomía, tradición y modernidad, que no podría entenderse sin aquella personas que fueron las encargadas de llevar a cabo la promoción artística. El presente trabajo muestra, tra un análisis breve de las técnicas y la promoción artística, un contexto general de la pintura en España pasando posteriormente a los focos andaluces más destacados, especialmente, el foco giennense y la figura particular de Pedro Machuca.

[EN]The sixteenth century, the century of Renaissance painting in Spain, will be marked by the introduction of the new model from Italy. This along with the new thinking and advance the painting techniques will make Spai is faced with a dichotomy, tradition and modernity, which could not be without those who were responsibl for carrying out the artistic promotion. This paper presents, after a brief analysis of the technical and artisti promotion, a general context of painting in Spain, later moving to the most outstanding Andalusian bulbs especially the focus of Jaén and particular figure of Pedro Machuca.
