Astronomía y Educación. Descubriendo el universo y el Sistema Solar

Abstract

[ES] La astronomía ha sido desde los primeros tiempos de la civilización humana uno de los campos de la ciencia que más ha maravillado y al mismo tiempo aportado, una información útil para el desarrollo de la misma. Hoy en día el interés por esta ciencia tan trascendental se está perdiendo a nivel de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Las innumerables dificultades de aprendizaje con las que se encuentran los estudiantes para comprender procesos y mecanismos astronómicos, suponen una barrera que le impide alcanzar un aprendizaje significativo. En este sentido, está propuesta didáctica pretende recuperar el interés por la astronomía, establecer una relación clara entre ciencia, tecnología y sociedad como ayuda para contextualizar el conocimiento y lograr un aprendizaje significativo por parte del alumnado.

[EN] Astronomy has been one of the fields of science that has amazed and at the same time provided useful information for its development since early times of human civilization. However, the interest concerning this momentous science is being lost at the level of secondary school. The countless learning difficulties that students have to face create a barrier that prevents them from achieving meaningful learning. In this sense, this didactic proposal seeks to recover the interest in astronomy, establishing a clear link between science, technology and society, in order to contextualize knowledge and to get meaningful learning with the learners.
