The relationship between work force and family situation is of interest because these are relevant factors in the work environment since the latter can be affected by these interactions both positively and negatively. 300 workers have participated in this research by means of a selection for convenience. The aim is to find out which dimensions of the work- family conflict would affect the levels of vigour proposed in Shirom's theoretical model (2011) and its dimensions. Self-report measures were used to assess the variables corresponding to work-family conflict and vigour. Correlation and regression analyses show that negative family-work interactions reduce work force levels, and the opposite is true if the interactions are positive, except positive family-work interactions, it doesn ́t seem to have influence. The study ends with a discussion of the theoretical and practical implications and conclusions about the results.
