La iconografía de la batalla de las Navas de Tolosa o al-´Iqab. Ideología y representación socio-cultural de la historia de España

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo Final de Máster plantea como objetivo principal el estudio de las diferentes representaciones artísticas que se han realizado sobre la batalla de las Navas de Tolosa (1212), desde la edad media y el siglo XVI hasta principios del XX, y analizar la visón e imagen que de la batalla presenta su iconografía, así como analizar lo que supuso realmente el desenlace de la contienda y las consecuencias que se fueron sucediendo al término de la misma, a partir de los diferentes enfoques teóricos que la historiografía le ha ido dando.

[EN] The present Final Master's Project proposes, as the main objective of the research, to investigate the study of the different artistic representations that have been made about the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa (1212), from the 16th century to the beginning of the 20th, as well as show information about what the outcome of the race and the consequences that were happening at the end of it, based on the different theoretical approaches that the historiography has been given in numerous research works.
