(ES) El Trastorno de Ansiedad Generalizada (TAG) se caracteriza por una preocupación excesiva
que produce un malestar clínicamente significativo, afectando a diversas áreas del funcionamiento de
la persona. Para su tratamiento se ha utilizado la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso (ACT), la cual
se basa en que el individuo sea capaz de afrontar el malestar, enfocándose en sus valores y
experiencias, para tener una vida rica y significativa. El objetivo de este trabajo se basa en revisar los
distintos estudios existentes de la aplicación de ACT al TAG, entre los que se han seleccionado un total
de 12 investigaciones (8 estudios de diseño grupal y 4 estudios de caso), resultando todos ellos eficaces
en el tratamiento de dicha patología.
(EN) Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is characterized by excessive worry that produces clinically significant distress, affecting various areas of the person's functioning. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) has been used for its treatment, which is based on the individual being able to cope with the distress, focusing on his or her values and experiences, in order to have a rich and meaningful life. The aim of this work is based on reviewing the different existing studies on the application of ACT to GAD, among which a total of 12 investigations have been selected (8 group design studies and 4 case studies), all of them proving to be effective in the treatment of this pathology.
