In recent years, the growing demand for clean and sustainable energy has driven the use of renewable, environmentally friendly energies, with photovoltaic energy being one of the main ones in this area. This project focuses on the design, analysis and evaluation of an installation of a self-consumption photovoltaic system to cover the demand in a home. To do this, information has been collected on both consumption in the home and irradiance incident in its location, the different installation configurations of the system have been analyzed according to a series of requirements, the photovoltaic system has been designed in its entirety, opting for the solution of being connected to the electrical grid, and an economic feasibility study has been carried out for a period of 25 years. The results obtained show that the proposed photovoltaic installation is technically feasible and economically profitable, with an estimated return on investment period of seven years. In conclusion, the viability and potential of using photovoltaic installations as a clean and sustainable alternative can be highlighted, these being beneficial for both the environment and the economic bill.
