[ES]Apostando por el potencial creativo de la diferencia y buscando nuevas fórmulas de expresión, el grupo de
danza Prema dirigido por Mónica García, promueve la observación y la comunicación por medio de la danza
como recurso de mediación artística, para la acción social. Sus obras, que se basan en gestos cotidianos
permiten expresar con el propio cuerpo lo que no se puede hacer con palabras; se convierten en documento
que visibiliza la realidad de la gente del lugar; fomentando la reflexión tanto de los participantes (alumnos).
Se realiza un estudio preliminar sobre este caso, con la intención de analizar su manera de afrontar la danza;
se destacan determinados aspectos de su propuesta, como el papel del cuerpo, las temáticas que se
trabajan o los procesos de creación colectiva en los que se implican; centrada en la persona y en la
colectividad, en su beneficio y mejora, es un modelo para el enriquecimiento de la enseñanza y práctica de
la danza.
[EN]Betting on the creative potential of difference and looking for new expression formulas, the Prema dance group led by Mónica García, promotes observation and communication through dance as a resource for artistic mediation, for social action. His works, which are based on everyday gestures, allow him to express with his own body what cannot be done with words; they become a document that makes the reality of the local people visible; encouraging the reflection of both the participants (students).
