Abstract

Las prácticas realizadas en el Museo Provincial de Jaén han sido esenciales para poder desarrollar una comprensión profunda de la gestión turística sostenible en el contexto del museo y del destino. En este trabajo se presenta una visión general del objetivo de las prácticas y la importancia de la gestión turística sostenible. Del mismo modo, la fundamentación teórica, conceptual y metodológica ha permitido adquirir los conocimientos necesarios sobre los principios y enfoques de la sostenibilidad en el turismo, así como las herramientas y métodos para su implementación. También se han analizado un marco normativo con la finalidad de entender las regulaciones y directrices aplicables a la gestión turística. Y por último, se ha revisado estudios existentes, y se han recopilado datos sobre la demanda turística que han permitido formular recomendaciones para mejorar la eficiencia y sostenibilidad de las operaciones.

The internship at the Provincial Museum of Jaén has been essential to develop a deep understanding of sustainable tourism management in the context of the museum and the destination. This paper presents an overview of the objective of the internship and the importance of sustainable tourism management. Similarly, the theoretical, conceptual and methodological foundation has provided the necessary knowledge of the principles and approaches to sustainability in tourism, as well as the tools and methods for its implementation. A normative framework has also been analyzed in order to understand the regulations and guidelines applicable to tourism management. Finally, existing studies have been reviewed, and data on tourism demand has been collected to formulate recommendations for improving the efficiency and sustainability of operations.
